Shattuck Boat House on Long Pond (after 1906)

Built 1872; enlarged 1884, 1886, 1890, 1900. Torn down and rebuilt, 1906. Removed to Turkey Pond, 1959. Originally built to house both the Halcyon and Shattuck Boat Clubs, the Shattucks became the sole occupants of the original boat house when the Halcyon Boat House was built across the lake in 1874. Site: Southwest shore of Long Pond.
