Squash Courts 1915

In 1915 Maurice Roche (Lord Fermoy), Form of 1905, presented the school with the Squash Courts that stand behind Sheldon. It was the first of many gifts that Lord Fermoy made to the school. The old Racquet Court, built in 1883 and which stood by the Lower School Pond, was so dilapidated that it ceased to be of use and had to be torn down. The new Squash Courts were opened for play on January 18, 1916 and are still in use today.
