Fiftieth Anniversary Observances 1906

This photo shows the unveiling of the Spanish-American War Monument during the Fiftieth Anniversary celebrations on June 6th, 1906. A hundred years later, the statue remains a focus of Memorial Day observances at the School, when the names of the alumni war dead are read in order, starting with the only known SPS casualty of the Civil War, William Hall Turner, Form of 1861.
