A page from the Diary of Emily Eliot, in which she inserted a verse written in her honor. The original diary, a gift to the School Library from Emily’s son Samuel Eliot Morison, Form of 1903 (the well-known Harvard historian), is now stored in the School Archives. A limited edition of this journal was printed by August Heckscher and entitled Journal of a Visit to St. Paul’s School (New York: The Uphill Press, 1967).
